In between the family hanging out time, we got down to serious Christmas business and took care of some more Christmas traditions.
Christmas at the Kimble house begins with making and decorating of Christmas cookies:
After the cookie decorating and the big family feasts come the Christmas Eve rituals:
The Night Before Christmas was read,
presents were passed out,
pure excitement dances were performed,
and the first round of presents were opened,
squealed over,
played with
and shared.
Cookies were selectively picked for Santa,
his elves were inspected,
and the kiddos tried to settle down for the big night.
There was excitement when they saw that Santa had come and they got to play with the toys he brought.
It was a Merry Christmas and so fun to get to spend it with cousins,
aunts, uncles,
and Nana and Poppy.
