I'm a little behind on updating the blog recently - I'm still talking about early May and we're already in late June. Here's what we've been up to:

A few days after Ethan's second birthday, we flew down to Houston to see Aaron's family, watch Curtis graduate from Texas A&M and house hunt (more on that later). The original plan was to get to see Aaron's parents, both brother's, sister in law, nephew, his grandma, his grandpa, his aunt and uncle and cousins. Because of some really bad timing we ended up not getting to see Nick, Kristin and our little nephew Knox. They moved to Batangas, Phillipines a week before we arrived. We did get to see everyone else, though, and had a really nice week catching up. It was fun to see our kids get to know their extended family.

We started the trip off with a bang, in Ethan's eyes - we went to the airport! The airport is just about the best place on earth to him - all kinds of motorized vehicles driving around with huge windows to watch out from, plus we get to ride on buses and trains AND airplanes. Traveling day is a great day for him. He has always been a great traveller, but he is even more fun now that he realizes that we go up in the air and come back down.
During the week we went up to College Station, TX and saw Uncle Curtis graduate, spent time at the house relaxing and playing, went to the pool, visited the aquarium downtown and spent some very quality time with family. We even snuck in a few meals with some friends. We got the added bonus of getting to spend an extra day with Mark, Christina, Lauren, Brendan and Grandpa John, who we don't get to see very often.
Ethan enjoyed getting to see the entire family, but I think he had the most fun with his cousin Brendan. Brendan was fantastic and played with Ethan the whole time we were together. I think they bonded over their love of Sky Balls. :)
A few of the good shots from the week:
Helping Grandpa decide what to buy
Cooking noodles with GiGi
