At the end of April we escaped Houston for a few days and headed down to spend some time on the beach.
The beginning of beach season is so exciting. You just can't beat the pure joy the kids have as soon as they hit the sand and the waves.
Ethan spent the whole weekend out in the water or scootering around the house. I don't think he held still for more than a second.
Kels discovered her new favorite thing at the beach - sea shell searching with her Daddy.
And Cole just did his best keeping up with the rest of them. When Kels put her goggles down, he immediately went and picked them up
so I could put them on him. He LOVES playing in the water, which is so fun to watch.
South Texas might not have the best beaches in the world, but you couldn't convince our little crew of that. With the warm water, the easy surf and it being so close, the Texas coast is alright for us!
We took a ferry to get to the island we spent the weekend on, so getting there was actually half the fun for this trip.

On the way back, we stopped in Galveston to say hello to the kids latest cousin, James Brunon Kimble (born 4/6/2015).
It was fun putting Cole up next to a three week year old. Our little baby instantly got so much bigger!
