This year we decided to make our trip to Florida an annual event (for as long as we live in Houston), and headed back east over Memorial Day weekend.
The Florida trip has become one of our favorite trips of the year
because the water and the sand are Just. So. Perfect.
The WATER:
The water was warm, the waves were soft (except for the day a storm tried to roll through) and there is so much life in it. This year we were able to fish with little nets along the shore!
The SAND:
The sand feels like silky sugar under your feet and is so fun to run and play in.
This year we brought a kite to fly at the beach,
which the kids though was so much fun to make the butterfly fly!

The EVENINGS:
Who doesn't love a good walk on the beach watching the sun go down? We had some beautiful evenings to play as a family enjoying the colorful skies.
