5 on 5-5-15

E is a whole hand old now!  And he had his golden birthday!  And his age, birthday day, month and year had fives in them!  All of this was reason to celebrate big.  So we did.

We started the fun off at his school and had a special circle time and snack just for him.  He was King for a Day.

And then we make his cake, as requested - orange frosting with marshmallows.  E & Kels helped with it all.

After we opened a few presents and played with them for a bit we headed off to soccer.  E was so jazzed up about his birthday I think he scored more goals that night than everyone else combined.

And afterwards, we ate the cake!  It was a fabulous day to turn 5!

That weekend we threw him a party with all his friends.

It was a water fighting, slip n' sliding good time.

It is always fun to see Ethan out running with all his friends

and I think everyone had a fun time.

After all his friends left, we kept the water park out and had a second (or third?) 5th birthday party with all the Fuhr family.

After the water balloon fight, I think Ethan's favorite part was getting thrown around by dad.

And not to be left out, Cole got in line to be Daddy's bowling ball

all the way down the slide.

All smiles while celebrating his 5 year old brother!

My favorite part of the birthday celebrations was watching E & Kels practice using the bow and arrow set E was given.

It was neat to watch them so determined to master their new toy.

And just look at this girl.  She might have slippers on, but that face means business!
