At one year old, Cole is such a happy, silly little boy.
He is adventurous, active, and a total momma's boy.
His two favorite things are to climb anything and throw any ball. He is constantly exploring, touching, carrying, throwing, opening, closing, moving in, moving out, climbing up, sliding down.
He is pretty steady on his feet as walks, but if he has the chance he prefers to climb over walking.
He can spend a morning entertaining himself inventing games with a ball around the house. Or he is just as happy joining in on his brother and sisters play.

At one, Cole loves to give high fives (even if he is mad as can be, he can't resist an open hand in front of him!) and wave to neighbors.
He breaks into dance whenever he hears a good beat
and claps along with songs.
He is just barely starting to talk (mama, dada, doggie, hot, cheese when getting his picture taken), does a few words in sign language (all done, eat, more), but has fully developed his gross motor skills to keep up with his siblings.
He loves to color with his siblings (his first picture)
And he has no fear.
He climbs jungle gyms and slides back down all by himself.
It is impressive how he can imitate his siblings.
And how well he throws and kicks balls.
He won't let anyone else touch his spoon.
And if you do, he has developed a pretty serious scowl to let you know he doesn't like it.
And as active as he is, he still enjoys finding a good place to sit for a bit.
He LOVES balls:
