Month 7 was such a month of change for our guy. But I guess, aren't they all in the first year?
Cole's biggest change came when he figured out how to move across the floor, which opened up a whole new world for him. He began doing a one arm, opposite leg scoot.
And he now scoots himself all around the house, chasing balls and searching for something new to touch.
The second big accomplishment was standing and holding on. It was so fun to stand him up right because he would giggle and laugh, every time. He loves the view!
At the end of the month, Cole got enough strength and balance to move himself from laying on his belly to sitting up right. With his big ol' heavy head, this move took a lot of practice and few bumps along the way.
During his seventh month, Cole was still our smiley guy (as long as mama is close) but maybe not as giggly.
He traded his giggles in for using his vocal cords. He would just sit, flap his arms, and yell and yell. He sounded like a crow, cawing all day. And he is pretty good echoing any yelling noise his sister makes.
His favorite toy downstairs to play with is Ethan's big trash truck, that and 'chasing' balls around the floor. He likes that he can push it around and open it.
His favorite toy upstairs to play with is this one. Makes him laugh that he can close the doors.
Cole had his first noodle night! After watching his two siblings develop their deep love of noodles, I now know that first noodle night is a milestone night in his life.
And he did enjoy it!
He spent his first morning swinging on a big boy swing. He was a fan of the wind in his face.
And he rode in the front of the shopping cart for the first time. He had a blast actually getting to see the store as we went, laughing and giggling the whole time.
My cute little one in the big brown chair...
