I mentioned in a previous post that Aaron's brother, Nick, and his wife, Kristin, recently moved to the Philippines for work. They weren't able to take their two dogs with them to live overseas, so we are fostering one of them until they get back. We are happy to have our new buddy Teddy living with us!
Teddy is a 2 year old, lab/greyhound mix. He is sweet, playful, a little bit of scaredy-cat, and the fastest runner I have ever seen. He is Malley's new best friend and, over the last week, is becoming one of E's favorite play buddies.
He has settled into our house very well and is now a part of our family. Like everyone else in the family, he doesn't get called by his real name very often. He goes by Tedders, Tedward, Bubba and my favorite of Teeeed (said by E with a long 'e' pronounced with a bit of a Texas accent!).
The best part about having Teddy in our house with us is that he and Malley are the best playmates. They are both fairly young dogs and spent several hours a day getting their energy out wrestling together (luckily this is done mostly outside!).
They have fallen into a cute routine everyday of playing and napping and doing everything together. I know Malley misses her fenceless yard in Alaska where she roamed anywhere she wanted, but I think she has forgiven us for moving since we gave her Teddy to play with. He is a sweet pup!
