40 weeks and Counting

Our little baby girl has decided that she needs a little more time than her due date estimated.  We are now at 40 weeks and three days and still waiting on her.  I was for sure she was coming sometime this weekend because every old wives tale on what triggers labor has occurred in the last few days - we had a total lunar eclipse on Friday night, full moon on Saturday, large swings in barometric pressure from the storms all weekend and a blizzard on Sunday, including a loss of power.  I've also been walking and all the other things they say to do.  What more needs to happen to lure this little girl out?  If a power outage in a snow storm doesn't do it, I'm not sure what will...  :)

Nana and Poppy are already in town waiting for this girl to get here and help us get used to life with two kids.  Until she comes, Ethan is eating up getting to be the old child still.

We've been doing all the Christmas traditions like wrapping presents,

decorating the Christmas tree,

and of course making Christmas cookies.

Ethan helped cut the shapes,

and decorate.

Sprinkles!

Nana and Ethan have been spending time looking out the window,

looking for Moose!

And playing, playing, playing!

Cards by candle light in the power outage.

Walking through the zoo at night.
