In the middle of June we spent a few weeks in beautiful Colorado!
Our first stop was a week at Nana's and Poppy's in Monument, one of our favorite places.
We loved getting to spend time with family (Nana & Poppy, Uncle Greg & Aunt Michelle, Grandma Dolly, Uncle Bob & Aunt Becky are all in the area!)
We had a busy week, filled with playing at Nana's, being outside,
catching up with family & friends.
Playtime at and around Nana's:
He caught one!
Kels quickly found fishing boring,
and moved on to more fun things, like making little animals homes in the water.
Cole found fishing boring as well and only wanted to play in the water.
Denver, hanging with Greg & Michelle:
We got to spend several days with our favorite Denver couple
playing in parks
and eating Aunt Michelle's popsicles.
We snuck in some other fun as well, like a 3D movie about whales!
And spent a day in the park with Bob & Becky.
Fabulous day up near Pikes Peak:
(well fabulous in all ways except in catching fish...)
Train ride & Rockies baseball game:
he loved being trapped in the seat, which we loved too!
Donkey Derby Days in Cripple Creek:
checking out a fighter helicopter from the Vietnam war
she was not as impressed
