After all the decorating and lights viewing and cookie eating, we had just one more thing to do before we were ready for Christmas to arrive - the kids had to tell Santa what they wanted!
Ethan knew right away what he wanted was a remote control truck. Kelsey had to think for a minute...and decided she wanted a froggie from Santa (Santa's face is saying, you want a frog??). And it was decided that Coley wanted new nini's from the big guy.
That same afternoon we went to a different Christmas festival (because we really do love festivals) and poor Cole could just not hold himself together for two sittings. Or maybe he didn't like the fake beard on this second guy...
Once we were sure that Santa (and his helpers the fake Santa's) knew what the kids wanted, there was one thing left to do before we headed out of town to see family - open the first round of presents.
Ethan and Kelsey were excited to finally see what was inside all those packages they had been eyeing under the tree.
And Cole was just happy to have something new to climb on.
After all the presents were opened and played with, we packed up the car and headed to north to continue the holiday celebration...
