It seems like as as soon as Thanksgiving is over, our family spends the next month either preparing or celebrating.
We start the month off getting ready for and then celebrating a very important birthday - our Bebe girl!
We held her party a week early, which means she thought all the days between her party and her real birthday were also her birthday. But there's nothing wrong with a week straight of celebrating!
Kels had been talking about having her birthday party with her friends for weeks and weeks. She had it all planned out - all her friends would come to her house and they'd eat cupcakes together.
Well it turns out, she was a lot more interested in the cupcakes than she was her friends. She gets shy in groups, so she spent her whole party hanging out by the cupcake she picked out just for her.
And she was so excited when I finally said it was time to eat them!
When all our friends had finally left our house, Kels decided to venture out and enjoy her birthday fire...
...and play with her daddy.
The day of her actual birthday, I let her choose anything in the whole city she wanted to do...and she picked playing in the front yard with her brothers
and preparing for her family birthday party that night.
So that night, we had a little cake,
she got a few presents,
and we finished up her birthday with a stroll through the zoo all lit up for Christmas. She was pretty impressed that even the zoo celebrated her birthday!
And on the morning of the 13th, when I thought we were all birthday'd out, she woke up and told me she was ready to have her next birthday party!
Too bad she has to wait another 365 days for that...
Happy 3rd birthday to our Bebe girl!
