Easter 2014

This year's Easter celebration was just what a holiday should be -

full of family,

sunshine,

and good times.

The kids kicked off their egg hunting at Ethan's school,

and kept finding eggs around the neighborhood

and local stores,

and around our house.

We kept with tradition and dyed some of our own,

with everyone participating, including aunts and uncles

and even the little guy.

Although the uncle got a bit distracted...

The Easter Bunny found our house on Easter day

leaving behind eggs,

candy,

and other goodies!

The older two did some serious searching to find all the eggs

while Cole wondered why they thought it was so hard...

The rest of the holiday was spent together,

preparing and eating good food with family,

and celebrating springtime with friends.

The kids enjoyed it being warm enough to play in our friend's pool

while we enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the fabulous weather.

It was an epic day all around!

In addition to Easter, Ethan's school celebrated spring and the season of renewal with a Maypole celebration.

We made headpieces out of flowers, danced around the maypole and played with friends.

It was a beautiful spring day worth celebrating!
