Obviously in your first week of life, there are going to be a lot of firsts. I didn't capture every single first of Cole's life, but here a few of the fun ones:
Day 7 - Cole's first photo shoot! At a week old, I tried to get a few pictures of his cute face...
and adorable little body. He got tired before we got too many pictures, but I do love a good crying newborn shot. :)
Day 6 - He wore his first hoodied jumpsuit
and went on his first ride in the Ergo (a place he will spend a lot of time in the next few months I think).
Day 5 - He stayed awake and alert for more than an hour
and wore his first cloth diaper.
Ethan and Kelsey also had their first selfie together.
Day 4 - Cole went on his first outing - to the beach!
He spent most of his time snoozing in the back of the car,
but the rest of us enjoyed time relaxing,
exploring the sand dunes,
and just playing in the sun.
Also on day 4, Cole uncurled his body and began to like having his legs stretched out
and his arms free and by his head.
And when he stretches out, look at those big ol' feet!
Day 3 - He had his first bath.
Day 2 - He had his first lullabye sung to him.
Day 1 - He came home for the first time.
