And We Get to Meet the Knox

After thirteen months of waiting to meet our little nephew/cousin, Knox came to Houston for a visit.  We had a great ten days of laughing and playing and getting to know the little guy.

Knox and his mom Kristin are taking a break from their day to day life in the Philippines to visit family in the US and they included Houston in one of their stops.

It was fun to get to see all three cousins play together.  Knox was in awe of Ethan and tried to play and follow him the whole time.  Since he and Kelsey are closer in age, they ended up playing better together since they were so similar.

We got out of the house for a bit to ride a train, play in some parks, and swim during the week, but we ended up staying close to home most of the time playing around the house and in the yard.

My favorite part of the week was meal times.  Ethan and Knox sat next to each other and Kels sat on the table in front.  The two boys would look at each other, make faces and noises and just laugh and laugh.  Kels would see them laughing and start in as well.  It was fun to see all three little ones cracking each other up.

Knox was also a big fan of Uncle Aaron.  He completely blew Knox's mind.  Aaron and Knox's Daddy, Nick, look a little a like and sound a lot a like.  Knox knew Aaron wasn't Nick, but he thought Aaron was pretty cool since he is so much like him.

We all had a great time during the visit, although poor E realized he's not ready to be a big brother to two babies.  With Mom talking to Aunt Kristin a lot and having to share his space and toys with both Kelsey and Knox, Ethan needed some special alone time to get away from it all!
