And Daddy Makes It Vacation

I realize I've already posted about a hundred pictures from our Colorado trip, but there's still more coming.  The best part about our trip was the times when Aaron wasn't working, in the evenings and three days on the end.  Once Daddy was off work, the trip turned into a vacation.

In the evenings, we packed in as much fun as we could before the kids crashed.

One night we went to Vail's Concert in the Park and had a picnic dinner,

...while listening to the music.

We swam in the pools, soaking up the warm water and great views.

Then relaxed in front of the fire.

We even got to roast marshmellows after - Ethan's first!

Probably don't have to say it, but he's a fan.  There will be more smores in his future...

We also got in several days of hiking and playing in the mountains.  Ethan loved riding on Daddy's back, although I think this is his last year of getting to be a rider while hiking.  That boy is HEAVY!

I was happy to carry baby girl Kels instead.

We were also able to sneak in a few of Colorado's tasty breweries...

We saw some gorgeous views on the trails:

And the kids had a great time being outside:
