We had a laid back Easter weekend at our house, filled with egg dying, egg hunts, and egg eating...with a day trip down the road to the ski resort. I love holiday weekends because for some reason the family time we share just seems that much sweeter.

Is hard work
And a little messy
So she played instead

On Easter Day
Our beautiful girl
And adorable boy
Played before breakfast
And made each other laugh
The Easter Bunny came
And brought toys
And fun
And candy!
Then we went to brunch
And sat in the spring sun
In our barefeet
It was wonderful

We tried for a Easter picture but she cried
And then tried again
But he escaped
And then tried a third time
But it was chaos
So picture time became silly time
And then play time
And later more playtime
