GiGi came to visit us recently and we had a great time hanging out and catching up. It was great for Ethan to get to play with his GiGi for a week and have fun with her now that he is a little toddler.
They became good buddies quickly. Ethan was excited to have GiGi in the house to laugh at him, play inside and outside with him...
...and share her food with him. Ethan's pretty easy to win over, you just have to feed him and love on him. GiGi did a lot of both during her time here!
Ethan is obsessed with reading books right now, so they spent a lot of time reading...
...and sitting on the stairs, another one of E's favorite games right now. All you do in the game is sit on the stairs. Just sit there. It's funny how much he loves it.
While she was here we hit up the highlights of Alaska. We went hiking in the mountains,
and boating in the ocean.
Ethan also got his hair cut by GiGi, which was badly needed!
Ethan spent time that week hanging with Daddy, too. They played together by building with blocks and hammering nails,
and learned together by working on puzzles.
And when Dad wasn't looking, Ethan made off with his wallet. Wonder if he can figure out how those credit cards work...
A few weeks ago Ethan randomly started jumping. He was pretty excited about his new skill. I didn't turn the camera on until he'd be at it for about 10 minutes, so he was tired and not getting off the ground by the time I filmed him, but it's a cute little clip of him jumping, running and getting excited:
