Eleven months for our guy was a big one. He started making the big changes that happen as babies get closer to being a one year old.
In the mist of traveling and celebrating the holidays, Cole made big jumps physically.
The biggest change this month was that our little guy took his first steps!
Mid month he took off taking three or four at a time and by the end of the month he was taking nine to ten steps.
I wouldn't call it walking yet because it they weren't the most stable steps. He looked more like a walking noodle. But his feet were moving and he was stepping!
He also became stable enough on his feet to pick up a ball and throw it while standing, which is one of his favorite things to do.
Another of his favorites this month is playing in the play house. He spent most of his roaming time at the house play here - climbing over it, open and shutting the door, climbing over it.
Cole's emotions grew up a bit this month. He is starting to laugh at more than just silly noises, tickling and peekaboo (mostly he laughs at Ethan's physical comedy). He also began to show signs of jealousy this month (mostly of big sis' time with mama!).
He began showing the first signs of being an older baby, understanding most of what we say to him and more of the world around him.
Some of his favorites in his eleventh month:
Aquariums! Cole loves to laugh and follow the fish.
Slides.
Swings.
Playing with Big Bro and Sis and doing whatever they do.
Hanging with his bud.
And sleeping. Yea for loving to sleep (if only it hadn't taken 11 months!).
