Several months ago, Ethan and Kelsey entered a wonderful phase of siblinghood. About the same time Kelsey got up and stable on her feet, Ethan became more loving and affectionate to her.
They have grown to be best buddies. My favorite moments of the day are when they are playing in their room or in the yard laughing together.
It's a parents dream to see their kids watching out for eachother. At this stage that means they make sure the other gets a popsicle too, but we're hoping this trait lasts to when it matters.
Of course they have their moments when they fight and cry at eachother, but luckily they are balanced with good times.
They hug,
they play,
they learn,
they grow together.
