Grow the Body, Grow the Mind

Our little man Ethan is in the middle of big development changes, and in my opinion, the most fun ones yet.  We are seeing his emotions maturing, his imagination develop and his favorites things changing.

He's seems too young for it, but he is becoming more self aware of his movements.  He will run to the bathroom mirror to look at himself making faces, watching himself chew food, laugh, smile, etc.

He is more interested in music then ever.  He sings and dances all the time, which he never did before, and likes his music 'louder!'.  He also likes to watch his shadow dancing on the wall.

He still loves to play with his trucks and trains but is figuring out that sports and games can be even more fun.  He is in love with his new baseball bat and golf clubs, loves being active running and biking, is obsessed with throwing balls and anything else he touches and has just discovered the fun of hide and seek and taking turns.

Our active man:

When not playing games, pretending, imitating and dressing up have become some of his favorite things to do.  I realize I need to get him a cape or something masculine to dress up in, instead of butterfly wings, mommy's shoes and Bebe's bows:

The cute little tongue that has been the subject of so many conversations lately:

And best of all, through all these changes, he keeps his smilin' face:
