She Likes Pink

Until recently, our girl Kels has never shown herself to be much of a girls girl.  And now, all of sudden, she is turning pink on us!

So far she has grown up following her brother around playing with trains and trucks, in the dirt.

And then one day in June, she decided she was a girl and fell in love with pink, princesses and being a little mama.

She started liking her baby dolls, caring for them and toting them around everywhere.

And she loves to hold her real baby.

And that one day, she decided she needed to choose everything she wears now, and that everything should have at least a little bit of pink.

She loves stories and all of sudden she loves princess stories...and she seems to kind of like the ones with a prince in it.  Although luckily at this age, Daddy is her favorite prince.

It was like one day she woke up, decided what it was to be a girl and decided that is how she is.

And I do love Kelsey's two year old definition of being girl -  pink is good, princesses are nice but she still loves to get dirty!

And she is feeling her best with her hair wild, wearing her Tinkerbell nightgown...all day.

She is our independent, fearless, pink princess.
