Spending any holiday with little ones ups the excitement and anticipation level, and we're finding it just gets better and better as they get older. Halloween this year was a full month of excitement over costumes, joy in Halloween decoration and cookie making, and of course the fun of party going. We celebrated so much, I think Ethan was confused that Halloween was an actual day and not at least a full week.
From the first time I explained what Halloween was and asked Ethan what he wanted to be, he was set on being a dragon. Which means, that is all Bebe wanted to be as well.
One of my favorite Halloween memories of this year was anytime we said the word dragon around Beebs she would do an airy dragon roar and stick out her tongue...and we said the word dragon a lot!
Another of my favorites was when I asked Ethan if he wanted to be Superman for Halloween and he just looked at me like I was silly and said "Mom, I'm AM Superman. I want to dress up as a dragon." Of course, what was I thinking, Superman doesn't dress up as Superman, that would be lame...
