A few weeks ago, our little family got on a plane and flew to Washington DC to celebrate my brother's graduation. We spent several fun days with Brian, his girlfriend and my parents, hanging out and roaming the DC area.
It really was a perfect trip, in that had a great balance of spending time out and about seeing the sights and spending time just hanging out together.
I'll start with the most important part of the weekend - celebrating with Uncle Brian who got his PhD in Virology after years of hard work. Congrats Bri!
The rest of the weekend, we all had a great time laughing
and playing with him.
Aaron and I love going to DC. Obviously, because we like to visit my brother, but we love being out on the National Mall and all the national buildings
and we love their Metro! The kids loved riding the train.
This trip was fun because we also spent some time at Great Falls National Park, along the Potomac River,
and at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
The kids loved spending five days with their Nana and Poppy.
Ethan became obsessed with being with Nana
and Kels became pretty fond of riding on Poppy's shoulders.
Uncle Brian and Aunt Kora showed us a great time in their city!
