Kelsey B, 11 Months

At 11 months, our baby girl Kels is going through a fun transition and lots of changes.

She is working hard to grow into a happy little toddler from her happy little baby self.

First, she grew one more tooth and now is up to three!

She is working hard on expressing herself in other ways than yelling, crying and giggling (although she still loves to yell at dinnertime!)

She says mama, sometimes says dada and her babbling has changed from bababa to her own little language.

Since we talk a lot about trains at our house, she now pumps arm in air and says whoowhoo when we talk about trains.

She waves her arms in the air to signal all done eating.

She imitates sounds and actions.  It sometimes seems like she is saying words like apple, but she is just repeating sounds back to us.

She also imitates acitons, like putting her face in the water and blowing bubbles after her brother does it.

She claps, dances and loves to make music herself.

She LOVES music class and giggles, claps and shakes her eggs the whole time.

She is learning cause and effect.   She likes to push and poke things to see what happens.

She loves to put things in and take them out...like freshly folded laundry.

She loves to climb, on stairs, on chairs,  on slides, on E.

She learning to use spoon and fork,  and now doesn't throw her plate when she is done eating.

She tries to stack things up and is an expert at knocking stacked down.

She is playful, curious and such a sweet little girl.
